Developed by me, Ednaldo Dos Santos, during my doctoral studies, Integrated Tactile Music Therapy
is an innovative method for the prevention of psychosomatic disorders.
This approach is ideal for people who, for various reasons, cannot commit to a continuous
therapeutic process, but who in acute situations – such as exam periods or weeks of intense work –
need immediate therapeutic support to quickly relieve or resolve the problem.
In my work, I combine music therapy and multisensory interventions in a single session to promote
deep relaxation, stress reduction and emotional as well as physical balance.
This is achieved through the integrated use of music and targeted therapeutic techniques.
The method consists of applying receptive music therapy techniques – using music pieces selected
by the music therapist to achieve specific therapeutic goals – together with different forms
of tactile stimulation.
These combined methods help to relieve pain, reduce stress, improve circulation and support
overall well-being.
